This month’s theme: PURPOSE
Articles of the Month
We Can Have More Than One Purpose In Life – There really is no set formula when it comes to finding your purpose. Your life is giving you clues all the time for the purpose you were put on our wonderful planet, all you have to do is find it and go after it like your life depends on it, because it does.
Life purpose: The inspiration you need to find your drive – You can’t discover the meaning of life if you never try new things. Don’t be afraid to shake things up and get out of your routine. By doing so, you’ll be committing to a goal that will fill your future with meaning and happiness — and that’s something to be proud of.

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
“The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.”
Fyodor Dostoyevsky
If you have a strong purpose in life, you don’t have to be pushed. Your passion will drive you there.
Roy T. Bennett

Act of Kindness
Visualize what a good life would look like for you. Would you want to help others? Live your life in another place? Have another career? Then, think about realistic ways you would achieve those ideas. Connect them to your core values and think about the lifestyle you’d live with these in mind.

Question of the Month
What gives meaning to your life? Share your thoughts.

Songs of the Month
Your hero’s journey is an unwritten adventure story. All you have to do is say YES when the Call to Adventure arrives.
Through your journey, the laws of physics and culture will threaten to drag you down, but if you listen to the quiet still voice within, you’ll likely hear the call of something larger drawing you into sacred service. You may have to break some rules, but if you can muster up the moxie to do so, magic is likely to follow.
Your calling doesn’t have to be grand. You don’t have to write a book, give a TED Talk, or start a nonprofit — it’s enough to simply choose to practice love and compassion in the world.

Videos of the Month
Finding your purpose can sometimes take a while, but when you have the right person to help you realize what’s in you, you’ll see it was right in front of you all along!
The Japanese invented a philosophy named Ikigai, which stands for ‘reason for being’, Ikigai can help us to determine what it is, that we want to wake up for in the morning.

Books of the Month
Man’s Search for Meaning – Viktor E. Frankl – The human is a pleasure-seeking creature, but you’ll never find your passion and purpose by allowing pleasure to determine the course of your life. “Man’s Search for Meaning” is not only a book on how to find your life’s purpose but also a book on how to overcome adversity, hardship, and feel free no matter the circumstances of your life.
The Last Lecture – Randy Pausch, Jeffrey Zaslow – What would you do with your life if you knew when it would end? Would you change your life for the better? Would you start living and seizing every moment? Trivial things surround us; and sometimes, we lose valuable time with those things without realizing that life, no matter how long it is, always feels too short.
The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself – Michael A. Singer – The road to finding your passion and purpose must begin by knowing yourself better. Recognizing and appreciating who you are: first, makes you feel you are enough, and second, allows you to take advantage of who you are.
Brave – Svetlana Chmakova – Jensen is living a daily nightmare of being bullied in middle school. In his head, he is the hero that rules the day when the bullying happens, but, in reality, he doesn’t do anything when mean kids call him fat, ugly, and dumb. Many kids can relate to the events that occur in this charming and optimistic graphic novel where (spoiler alert) the good guy prevails.
Thomas Discovers The Purpose Of Life – Nerissa Marie – A positive inspirational story encouraging your child to live a confident happy life. Thomas is a remarkable boy who questions the meaning of life. This leads him on a journey of self-discovery, where he makes new friends and discovers his life purpose.
Thelma the Unicorn – Aaron Blabey – Thelma, a farm horse, has one passionate dream: she wants to be a unicorn. So when she gets a chance to be one, she goes for it with enthusiasm and commitment. Unfortunately, what she soon learns is that being a unicorn isn’t what she thought it would be.

A Message of Kindness from France
Bonjour from France to every dear reader.
I work as a garbageman to collect trash bags. Last Friday a lady couldn’t go down with her bag because of a leg surgery she had. She waited for us early in the morning. So at her balcony she asked me to take her bag and was sorry to throw it to me because of a recent surgery. In order to encourage her, I wrote her a letter and put it in her mailbox, encouraging her to be strong and courageous. She is a great person as well as her relatives and loved ones.
I wish you all the best and you will soon get 1,000 letters of acts of kindness. Always spread kindness to the whole world. Be strong and courageous! Keep on opening your great heart and giving to people. Keep on smiling and judging you and everyone favorably!
Good tidings and deliveries!
~ Jean-Charles Angot

THERE IS GOODNESS IN EVERYONE
I must confess that I shed a tear.
On the bus this morning, a younger woman gave an older woman her sweater because the older passenger was shivering. She laughed about it.
“I can’t understand this weather. It seemed much warmer when I left the house, but now I’m so cold.
“The two women chatted. “Yes, that’s the fall,” said the younger woman.
“And Beit Shemesh is warmer; now we’re entering Jerusalem.”
And then the younger woman took off her jacket, and then her sweater, and gave the sweater to the older passenger.
“We seem to be the same size,” they said almost in unison.
The older woman felt bad but was grateful. The younger woman responded: “That’s okay; it warms my heart to know I can make you warmer.
“I was watching this story unfold, and then I looked out the window. We had just arrived across from the bus stop at the entrance to Jerusalem where Wednesday’s bombing took place, and which has now claimed a second life.
And I said to the younger woman: “Your good deed shows the good in the world which can eradicate the hatred that happened there right across the street last week.
“She thanked me for my words, and she too shed a tear.

SPREAD YOUR KINDNESS
One day we were walking down the street and we saw a man and a woman with their baby. They were asking for money and so we gave them some money, about 35 dollars. They said “thank you so much, you don’t know how much we needed that.” We left and the next day we saw them at a store buying food. We came up to them and said “spread your kindness!”
