Reflections on Generosity: by Orly Wahba
Generosity doesn’t measure or take accounting. Generosity doesn’t wait to be repaid or cashed in at some opportune moment. True generosity is giving simply to give, loving simply to love, uplifting simply to uplift. When we consider whether we practice generosity in our day to day lives, it’s important to reflect and ask ourselves why we give and what do we expect to receive through giving. Read More >>

The Gifts of Generosity by Melanie Haiken
“Being generous has a host of positive effects — everything from making you more socially networked and physically active to preventing depression,” says Notre Dame sociologist Hilary Davidson, PhD. How can generosity improve your life in some surprising, health-enhancing ways?
Warrior Wyatt is Inspiring Kindness
On October 26th Jason Hattrick of Life Vest Inside deployed a “Kindness Sting” as part of our Inspiring Kindness Law Enforcement Initiative for Warrior Wyatt. Wyatt has what is called a Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) which are highly aggressive and difficult to treat brain tumors found at the base of the brain. This type of tumor affects only about 300 kids per year between the ages of 5 to 11 years old. It is incurable and will eventually take Wyatt’s life.

“The Generosity Factor: Discover the Joy of Giving Your Time, Talent, and Treasure” by Ken Blanchard
In the tradition of the bestselling book The One Minute Manager®, authors Ken Blanchard and S. Truett Cathy, entrepreneur and founder of Chic-fil-A® restaurants, present The Generosity Factor™―a parable that demonstrates the virtues of generosity. It’s the story of a meeting between the Broker―a young man on his way up the corporate ladder who has the illusion of success, yet deep inside feels insignificant―and the Executive―the CEO of a very large and successful company who claims the greatest joy in his life is his ability to give to others.Thinking he might get a competitive edge by meeting with the Executive, the Broker’s worldview is turned upside down as he talks to the Executive and hears the principles that form his life. He calls it The Generosity Factor™―a way to give time, talent, treasure, and touch to those in need.Providing a unique twist on what it means to thrive in business, at home, and in life, this story will forever change your definition of success.
