Event Testimonials

How the event impacted us!

lvi-hr

A young boy sat somewhere and opened Facebook site. Just like majority of his generation. Then he started scrolling main page. Just like everyday. And then suddenly one video appeared on the screen. He decided to give that video a Chance and watched it. As the story included in the video came to the highlight he discovered that he saw similar story as he was watching one performance in his sister primary school, that fact intrigued him. But just after end of video his life came back to be as ordinary as it was before. A couple of weeks after he saw that video for the second time in exact the same circumstances. After next couple of weeks, the same. But on that third time he saw small logo at the end of the video. Small and orange life vest with the name Life Vest Inside next to it. As the very curious person he opened the search engine, commonly known as Google and then typed: „life vest inside” and clicked on first result. He saw the main page and the attached subpages with one of them called „About us” and second – „Projects” . Reading with passion instead of taking just a glimpse, he saw the big, big title – „DANCE FOR KINDNESS”. His eyes were just shining bright like a diamond from curiosity. After getting every info about that project he was just about to burn from the feeling of awesomeness of that action, decided to to that. Now this same guy is sitting in the same room as at the beginning, instead of scrolling Facebook, he is writing that story. He is after being 2 times a Group Leader of Dance for Kindness and he managed to encourage like more than 120 people in these 2 years to come to an event, to spread the kindness together and to be a example of good person. He tries to be as good as it is possible, as happy as possible and as orange as possible (his last bought part of clothes is orange hoodie). He made like 30 people to help him, to be engaged in the project more personally, created something like society of DFK participants. He got to know people all around the world and the day before writing that he got a message from the person from totally opposite part of the world after one year without any conversation. And the content of message was: „What’s the weather like in your country” – the most (un)ordinary message possibly imagined. He hopes that somewhere in the future he will see all of these people in real life, because he already feel as they can be his family. The DFK family. That young boy is me. My name is Piotr, I’m 17, I live in the north of Poland in the middle Europe and I want to encourage you all to take the responsibility and make a DFK event in your city or country. Not only will that event change your life, but what is very possible also change lives of your friends, neighbours, local society, because kindness keeps the world afloat as the slogan of LVI says.
